The exam paper is designed to test the candidates' knowledge of current legislation, testing procedures and their ability to assume the role of "In-House PAT Technicians". There are no unduly difficult questions, but the examination is designed to make the candidate think. The exam paper is again "open book", and it is suggested that the paper be sat under quit, solitary and timed conditions. The time allowed for the paper is 60 minutes.
